Harry Alexander Classics is pleased to offer for sale this VOGUE LSE, 4.2 V8 in rare, Roman Bronze from our personal collection.

​

This two owner vehicle has been meticulously maintained during the last three decades and upon our purchase, it had an excellent, straight body and a rust free chassis, undercarriage and panels. There is no rust on the wheel arches, floors, engine bay, doors or tailgate.

​

Nevertheless, in our personal ownership over the last 12 months, it has had extensive investment and expenditure.

​

It has benefited from a mechanical, cosmetic, and an electrical overhaul to ensure a smooth and enjoyable ownership experience. We have used this car extensively on both short local journeys as well as long trips in Spain and Andorra.

Mechanically:

- A full service of oils, filters, spark plugs and leads.
- Gearbox oil change
- Differential fluid change on both axles
- Brakes: New discs and pads
- New shock absorbers
- New catalytic converter
- New water pump

- Full respray inside and out removing glass and rubber seals.
- Light interior refurbishment including careful rejuvenating of the front seats along with a new headliner in the original colour.

Despite the small attention to the front seats and headliner, the original dash, centre/cubby box, carpeting, and special Vogue LSE specific wood trim are all in excellent condition.

How it drives:

​

The engine pulls effortlessly and the power and torque from the 4.2 EFI V8 is very enjoyable and rewarding. The gearbox and all gear changes are smooth. There is no steering play.

​

The suspension is comfortable and the handling and ride is reflective of the brand new shock absorbers. However, the air suspension system is intact and it was working before being converted. We converted it to conventional shocks and springs from EAS simply due to peace of mind. Any new owner could return to working air suspension if they so wished.

​

In conclusion, this is a fantastic example that has benefitted from a lot of expenditure and our own personal use and checking and improvement over time. It is very hard to come by such an example that ticks all the right boxes, especially at this price point. The VOGUE LSE can be a complex classic with a lot of details that normally need attention.
