With a fully rebuilt, soulful 3.5 V8 engine, A/C and 5 speed gearbox, this is the perfect combination of modern practicalities yet with the soul, character and charm the early four door Range Rover Classics exemplify. The 5 speed gearbox and air conditioning were expensive optional extras of the period.

​

The owner's manual, stamped service book, and other supporting paperwork add to the collectability of this example.

​

It drives extremely well, and the induction noise of the carburettors can only be described as addictive. It really must be seen and heard to be fully appreciated, and we welcome any inspections or viewings of this, or any of our other vehicles.

​

This example benefitted from an extensive yet sympathetic restoration in 2015, during which the engine was removed and rebuilt. As a result, the undercarriage as you would expect is exceptional, as are all of the panels, wheel arches, engine bay, and tailgate, with no signs of rust anywhere. 

​

Thankfully however, the well preserved, beautiful interior was left untouched. 

​

We have repainted this example in Balmoral Green using Land Rover colour codes and it looks outstanding.
